Recently, Li Zhenghui, Vice President of ZJWEU, led a delegation to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan for official visits and received warm receptions from the Ministers of Education and Science and Energy of Kyrgyzstan. The delegation visited Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov, and held meetings with representatives from Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) and China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd.(ENERGY CHINA)’s Central Asia Branches. They also discussed matters related to the construction of Luban Workshop, including facilities for teaching, conducting experiments, training, etc., and educational exchange and cooperation.
Mambetakunov, the Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, emphasized that the Sino-Kyrgyz Luban Workshop is a project of paramount importance between the two nations. He appreciated the robust support from the Chinese side and ZJWEU, assured strong support from Kyrgyzstan to facilitate the implementation of this project, and hoped to promote bilateral cooperation in education sectors such as water resources, electricity, machinery, roads, and bridges.
Ibraev Taalaibek, the Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, expressed strong support for collaboration between the universities of the two sides, and urged both sides to boost the communication of enterprises and national energy development on the basis of cooperating in talent cultivation.
In Uzbekistan, the delegation visited Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA)’s Central Asia Branch in Tashkent and China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd.(ENERGY CHINA)’s Central Asia Branch, and learned about the two enterprises’ engineering contracting and construction, international industry talent demand, and Luban Workshop construction in Central Asia.
